Technical Details
Internet Connected Tag (ICT)
The ICT combines the BLE functionality of other GPSoT products with cellular and GPS features
- Maintains a cellular link to the GPSoT cloud using MQTT over SSL
- Broadcasts the following data to the cloud
- Temperature
- Battery level
- Motion events
- LTE signal level in -dbM
- GPS coordinates and ground speedThe following parameters can be configured remotely via portal or HTTP API
- Set motion threshold : 3 levels of motion sensitivity or disable motion detection
- Blink and beep the ICT
- Set broadcast interval. Default is 20 seconds
Internet Connected Tag ( ICT ) cloud overview
- ICT tags use MQTT over SSL to send data to the cloud.
- Data saved in 2 databases
- 1.Runtime data: last packet received from an ICT
- 2.History data: 24 hours of telemetry data
- For customers with their own data collection and aggregation systems HTTP API is available to fetch the runtime and history data.
- The amount of history data stored on GPSoT servers is negotiable. Default is 24 hours worth of telemetry data per device.
- A portal is available for user to track and manage their tags
